When was the last time you said no and felt good about it?  Seriously. When?

Well, it’s time we did something about that, don’t you think?

Welcome to That’s a Hard No, the podcast about saying no and setting boundaries – without feeling fear, FOMO, or guilt.

On our show, we talk about everything related to boundaries, and why it can feel so damn scary to set them. We meet all kinds of interesting people from different walks of life with various takes on the subject, and we look at what’s happening in our culture and how it all comes back, sometimes, to simply saying no.

Meet Our Host

HEATHER DRAGO

Hi there! I’m Heather. I’m a 5O-something wife, mom, and recent cancer survivor. I’m also a small business owner. I head Clever Girl Marketing, in Cleveland, Ohio.

Now you may think that because I host a podcast about boundaries, I’m an expert in saying no. Far from it, my friend.

What I’m expert in is struggling to say no.

But you know what? I’m working on it. And it is getting easier!

What We're Reading

HARD NO BOOK CLUB

We’re reading “Just Do Nothing: A Paradoxical Guide to Getting Out of Your Way” by friend of the pod, Joanna Hardis, LISW-S.

Joanna is a cognitive behavioral therapist committed to using evidence-based treatments and has spent the past 25 years helping people get “unstuck.” She’s recently been on That’s a Hard No to share her expertise on Facing Our Anxieties and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

If Anxiety is something you or a loved one struggle with, get a copy of her book and read along with us. We’ll be recording a new episode with Joanna in late January, so send in your questions and we’ll pass them along. Her episode, plus a book club roundtable discussion episode will drop in mid-February.
